With both my daughters at school, I decided it was time to pave my own path in this world. I have always had a great interest in health and nutrition. After completing a Certificate III Bridging into Nursing at The Gordon, I had the confidence and tools I needed to apply for the Diploma of Nursing.
I really enjoyed learning in class, but when you go out on placement it reality kicks in. It’s an opportunity to bring all my newly learnt skills together and practice. Placements are the highlights of my course. It is satisfying to see firsthand what nurses are doing in the health industry and I cannot wait to work as an enrolled nurse and work in the health care industry.
