Studying at The Gordon has had an enormous positive impact on my development and ability to achieve my career goals. My confidence in my own abilities has grown and my skills have grown from learning from
teachers and mentors with industry experience.

I have been able to develop my skills at my own pace as the teachers at The Gordon are very accommodating with different learning styles, so the challenges I had at school were not a problem at Trade School. And as the training is competency based, I have been able to progress at my own pace.

I have been very supported as an apprentice, both at Tenon Joinery and at The Gordon. My gender has not been a challenge and I would certainly encourage more women to consider taking on a trade.
